New Agreement signed.
New Agreement takes effect.
On October 1st of this year, a new agreement on continuing collaborative projects within the framework of Eyvöt NCC-IS came into effect.
The agreement is between parties in Iceland and the European Competence Centre in Cybersecurity (ECCC), and the objective of the agreement is to strengthen cybersecurity and knowledge in Iceland.
The parties to the agreement are: ECOI, the University of Iceland, Reykjavik University, and Rannis.
The projects defined in the agreement are diverse but all have the goal of strengthening knowledge, understanding, and competence in cybersecurity matters in Iceland.
Allocation of grants to third parties is also part of this agreement, and there will be two allocation rounds. The first round opened in early October 2025 and closes in December, and then the second round is planned to open for applications in early October 2026.
